Good habits start from early.

 Hi all;

I am back, today I want to write down few words about recent Nobel prize winner Han Kang, she won the Nobel prize of literature on her book the Vegetarian, she is the first South Korean woman who won the Nobel prize, that's amazing.

I got an immense interest in her so I browsed the internet and collected some of her information.

Before deep dive into her world, I thought she is from a wealthy family or she have a rich background but fact was she is from a poor family, her father was a writer , he was the only person who earn the bread and raise three kids.

Especially during that time, the writer's career lacked opportunities and growth so they belong to a low income family.

I have watched an interview on Youtube, she said:"when she was a little girl, in her home there is no furniture, her home surrounded by books bought by her dad and her childhood memories was spent all her time with books, books was her toys,  best friend, books can gave her comfort". Literally books are everything to her.

Though life was not easy, barely had enough food to eat but due to her daddy's good reading and writing habit, his three kids adopted a good habit of reading and writing, all of them became writers and her younger brother is a write cum cartoonist.

In 2024 she won the Nobel prize of literature for her book:'The Vegetarian' Everyone said this book should be on your reading list.

There is  a big impact from parents to their kids as we said parents are the first teachers of  kids, that's so true, when we have a bookworm daddy at home, kids will automatically adopt that hobby from dad and when we have a dad who do nothing but screen time, then I think kids will do the same.

I made a content about Han Kang  bio and her book  in the Tibetan language, I hope young parents can learn something from her dad and create an environment where kids can read books with parents at home and show interest in it.

I often saw Tibetan parents spending hell lots of money on expensive toys, clothes , iPads ,I watch, iphone, and taking  kids to a fancy mall, that's fine once in a blue moon but I feel better encouraging or building a habit of reading from an early stage will be fruitful when they grow up.

I just jotted down some of my thoughts, if you are reading these notes and you are  parents, try to learn something from Han gang's dad, that will be the most  precious lifetime gift for your kids and we all know  education is the only tool to bring a better future.

Thanks for reading, Bye for now.
